Apple AirTags discovered in Apple support video

We have been hearing rumors about the Apple AirTags for some time, Apple has yet to make them official and now it looks like they have accidentally confirmed their existence.

References to the new AirTags were discovered in an Apple support video that was uploaded to their YouTube channel yesterday, this can be seen in the photo below.

As we can see from the photo the reference to the AirTags was found in the Find My iPhone app, it comes with an offline finding mode which will allow you to find them when not connected to WiFi or cellular.

So it looks like the AirTag will work in a similar way to the Tile tracking devices, they can be used to track a number of items like your keys, wallet, luggage and more.

Apple was expected to launch them last month, but therir press event did not go ahead, so we suspect we ay seen them become official some time soon.

Apple Stores in the US will stay closed until May

Apple closed its retail stores outside of China due to the coronavirus recently, when they were closed we were told this would be until April, this has now been extended.

Apple has recently informed its employees that their retails stores in the US will continue to be closed until at least early May.

Many of Apple’s employees are working from home and this has now been extended for all employees until early May.

This includes the companies retail stores, their official and more, this is for the US only at the moment, but we suspect this will apply to other countries until Apple announces dates for when their stores may reopen in other countries.

It will depend on each country and what restrictions that country has on stores due to the virus outbreak around the world.

Motorola Moto G8 Power Lite smartphone gets official

We have heard a number of rumors about the new Moto G8 Power Lite smartphone a nd now the handset is official.
